Lovely stay, so clean and easy access right off the highway. Quick drive into Baddeck! The most memorable thing was the faucet in the bathroom, it lights up and colours change as the water temperature changes … cool feature! Great value!

Great Place to Stay in Baddeck Area
Our family found the Trailsman to be clean & well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful & professional. The included breakfast was generous & well prepared. The grounds were well kept and the pool, though small, was convenient for families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Trailsman a great place to stay, while in the Baddeck area of Cape Breton.

Convenient Motel with great View
The extra money for the room with a view was worth it. The room had two doors. We parked in front of the front door and walked through to the back door to sit on the deck which ran the full length of the motel units. The view from our window and from the deck was beautiful. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The hot breakfast was very good for a motel breakfast. There was a good restaurant a very short drive away where we ate dinner. The location was excellent for beginning or ending the Cabot Trail.
